A cold front trailing S of the low will pass to the E of the Gulf by Mon morning as well. However, strong winds will linger over the NE gulf through Mon night as surface troughing on the W side of the low lingers over the NE Gulf. SE winds will increase to gale force by late today off NE Florida ahead of the approaching low and front. The front will continue to sweep eastward, reaching from 31N72W to western Cuba by early Tue as the low slowly moves toward 31N76W. The low could bring more gales to the waters E of Jacksonville Tue evening before heading E to 29N65W early Wed, with the front extending to the Windward Passage.
