Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Strong low pressure just NW of Apalachicola Florida
will move to SE Georgia by Mon morning. A cold front trailing S
of the low will pass to the E of the Gulf by Mon morning as
well. However, strong winds will linger over the NE gulf through
Mon night as surface troughing on the W side of the low lingers
over the NE Gulf. A ridge will build over the Gulf Tue and Wed
and promote light to gentle winds over the basin during this
time frame.

Numerous showers and scattered tstms. 
.MON...W to NW winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 9 ft.
Scattered showers and isolated tstms.

Seas 8 to 11 ft in NE swell.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...Deepening low pressure currently just NW of 
Apalachicola Florida will move to the Georgia coast by Mon 
morning, with a trailing cold front moving off the east coast of
 Florida. SE winds will increase to gale force by late today off
NE Florida ahead of the approaching low and front. The front
will  continue to sweep eastward, reaching from 31N72W to
western Cuba  by early Tue as the low slowly moves toward
31N76W. The low  could bring more gales to the waters E of
Jacksonville Tue  evening before heading E to 29N65W early Wed,
with the front  extending to the Windward Passage. Looking
ahead, winds and seas  diminish across the region after late Wed
as the low and front  move farther E and weaken. 

...GALE WARNING TONIGHT...MON AND TUE...

.OVERNIGHT...SE winds 30 to 35 kt N of 29N W of 79W, and SE 20 to 
30 kt elsewhere. Seas 9 to 14 ft.
.MON...N of 29N W of 79W, SE to S winds 25 to 35 kt, becoming W
10 to 15 kt in the afternoon. Elsewhere, SE to S winds 25 to
30 kt. Seas 9 to 14 ft in E to SE swell. Numerous showers and
scattered tstms. 
.MON NIGHT...W winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and SW to W 20 to
25 kt N of 27N. Seas 5 to 7 ft. Scattered showers and isolated
tstms. 
.TUE...N of 30N W of 78W N to NE winds 20 to 25 kt increasing to 
25 to 35 kt in the evening. Seas 10 to 13 ft. W to NW winds 15 to 
20 kt. Seas 7 to 10 ft in E to SE swell. Scattered showers and 
isolated tstms.
.TUE NIGHT...NW to N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft.
