Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Weak high pressure centered over the NE Gulf will
shift northeast of the area by early this evening with a ridge
extending southwestward to the the central Gulf. The combination
between the ridge and deepening low pressure over the Plains
will allow for moderate to fresh southerly winds over the
western Gulf to increase to fresh to strong speeds during
through this afternoon before diminishing back to moderate to
fresh speeds this evening as a cold front associated to the low
pressure moves across Texas. This cold front will move to just
offshore the Texas coast early Wed, reach from the western
Florida panhandle to near 28N91W and stationary to near
Brownsville Wed afternoon. The cold front portion will sweep
southeastward across the eastern Gulf through Thu night and
become stationary over the Straits of Florida Fri and dissipate
by late Sat night. The stationary portion will lift back to the
north and inland Texas as a warm front Thu through Fri. Another
cold front may move into the NW Gulf Sat night.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extending from 30N65W to near 25N75W
will gradually weaken as it shifts east of the area through Wed.
The western portion of the front will extend along 25N east of
70W through Thu. Relatively weak high pressure is present  W of
the front. A cold front will sweep across the area Thu and  Thu
night followed by fresh to strong west to northwest winds 
across the northeast forecast waters, and by moderate to fresh 
north to northeast elsewhere behind the front as a new area of 
high pressure builds east-southeastward over the region. Large 
northerly swell is forecast to propagate across the waters E of 
the Bahamas Fri through Sat night. Another cold front will 
approach the NW waters late Sat night with increasing SW flow 
ahead of it.

less than 5 kt, shifting to E to SE in the afternoon. Seas 2 to 4
ft.
