Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extending from the Straits of Florida to
along 20N will stall and weaken over the same area today. High 
pressure will build in the wake of the front from W to E, shifting
NE of the basin by early Tue. The next cold front will move into 
the NW Gulf by early Wed, weakening and stalling in the northern 
Gulf by Wed night. Moderate to fresh SE return flow will prevail 
across the western Gulf Thu through Fri. 

.TODAY...NW to N winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft in the morning,
subsiding to 2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to E late.
Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TUE...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TUE NIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.WED...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extending from just W of Bermuda to
Abaco Island, Bahamas to the Straits of Florida will stall and
weaken from 31N65W to the central Bahamas by this evening. High
pressure will build in the wake of the front. Another cold front
is forecast to move across the forecast waters Thu and Thu night 
with fresh to strong W to NW winds, and large northerly swell 
affecting the NE waters. Mainly northerly winds are expected 
across most of the forecast area in the wake of the front by Fri.

.TODAY...S of 27N, NW winds 5 to 10 kt. N of 27N, NW to N winds
5 to 10 kt,  shifting to W in the afternoon. Seas 2 ft or less S
of 27N, and 3 to 5 ft N of 27N. 
.TONIGHT...S of 27N, N winds 5 to 10 kt. N of 27N, NW winds less
than 5 kt, shifting to NE late. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and
3 to 4 ft N of 27N. 
.TUE...NE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and E 5 to 10 kt N of 27N.
