Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A surface ridge will prevail across the eastern area
through tonight, with fresh SE return flow persisting over the
western Gulf. A cold front will move off the Texas coast and
into the NW Gulf this evening, cross the northern and central
waters this weekend, then weaken and stall over the southern
Gulf Sun night into Mon. High pressure will build in from the W
behind the front Sat night through Sun night, move E across the
Gulf Mon into Tue, then persist into Wed night. Another cold
front may move into the NW Gulf by Tue night into Wed night.

.SAT...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SAT NIGHT...W winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Sebastien near 26.2N 53.7W 999 mb at 
4 PM EST moving ENE at 14 kt. Maximum sustained winds 50 kt 
gusts 60 kt. Sebastien will continue to accelerate northeastward
away from the forecast waters tonight. A cold front is W of 
Sebastien extending from 31N51W to 27N56W to 18N59W to the 
Leeward Islands. High pressure in the wake of the front will 
dominate the forecast waters through Sat, then shift eastward
Sat night. The next cold front will cross the region Sun through
Mon, weakening near 70W Mon night through Tue night. High 
pressure will build in from the W over the region Wed and Wed 
night.

.TONIGHT...NE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and E 5 to 10 kt N of
27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 to 4 ft N of 27N. 
.SAT...E winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE 10 to 15 kt N of 27N.
Seas 3 ft in the morning, subsiding to 2 ft or less. 
.SAT NIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and S 15 to 20 kt
N of 27N. S of 27N, seas 2 ft or less. N of 27N, seas 2 ft or
less, building to 3 to 4 ft late. 
.SUN...S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SW to W 15 to
20 kt N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 to 5 ft N of
27N. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.
