Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A surface ridge will prevail across the area through
today, with fresh SE return flow persisting over the western
Gulf. A cold front will move off the Texas coast and into the NW
Gulf this evening, cross the northern and central waters this
weekend, then weaken and stall over the southern Gulf Sun night
into Mon. Another cold front may move into the NW Gulf by Tue
night.

.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Sebastien near 25.2N 55.3W 1000 mb at
10 AM EST moving ENE at 13 kt. Maximum sustained winds 45 kt 
gusts 55 kt. Sebastien will continue to accelerate northeastward 
away from the forecast waters today. A cold front is W of 
Sebastien extending from 31N54W to 26N57W to the Leeward Islands. 
High pressure in the wake of the front will dominate the forecast 
waters through Sat, then shift eastward Sat night. The next cold 
front will cross the region Sun through Mon, weakening near 70W 
Tue and Tue night. 

.TODAY...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and E to SE 10 to
15 kt N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 4 to 6 ft N of
27N.
