Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Winds and seas continue to diminish over the basin
as high pressure builds in across the region. A rather weak
front will move across the eastern Gulf Mon afternoon through
Tue. High pressure building behind that front will allow for
fresh to strong southeast return flow to become established off
the Texas coast by mid-week before weakening some Thu and Thu
night.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front associated with an intensifying 999 mb 
low pressure system near 30.5N76W extends from near 31N72W to 
eastern Cuba. The front will become stationary and weaken from
the Windward Passage to northeast Nicaragua by early this
evening as the low pressure system tracks northeastward away
from the area. Strong gale force northerly winds behind the
front N of 28N will  slowly diminish this afternoon. Large seas
over the northwest  waters will gradually subside through the
early part of the upcoming week. A couple of weak and dry cold
front will sweep  across the area Mon through Wed. High pressure
will build in  across the area Wed through Thu night.

.TODAY...S of 27N, NW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. N of 27N
NW to N 20 to 30 kt with frequent gusts to 35 kt, except N of 29N
E of 79W, NW to N winds 20 to 30 kt with frequent gusts to 35 kt,
diminishing to 20 to 25 kt S of 29N in the afternoon. Seas 10 to 
17 ft. except 13 to 20 ft N of 29N E of 79W. Isolated showers N of
27N.
.TONIGHT...S of 27N, NW to N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 6 to 9 ft in
N to NE swell. N of 27N, NW to N winds 20 to 30 kt, diminishing to 15 to 20 kt
late. Seas 11 to 17 ft in N to NE swell. Isolated showers N of 27N.
.MON...W to NW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 6 to 9 ft in N to NE
swell.
