Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front from the upper Florida Keys to
the Yucatan Peninsula will gradually become ill defined late
today. A new cold front will move into the N Gulf this afternoon
and progress southeastward through the basin before exiting late
Fri. Weak low pressure is expected to form along this front
tonight over the NE Gulf then move across the northern Florida
Peninsula Fri. Gale force N winds are expected behind the front
over SW portions late tonight through Fri night. Another cold
front may move into the western Gulf late Sun through Mon.  

.TODAY...E to SE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...SE winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to SW to W after
midnight. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered tstms. 
.FRI...NW winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Numerous showers and
scattered tstms. 
.FRI NIGHT...NW to N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.SAT...NW to N winds 20 kt. Seas 6 to 7 ft. 
.SAT NIGHT...N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. 
.SUN...N to NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front from 28N65W to the NW Bahamas and
upper Florida Keys will gradually weaken and begin to drift
northward to the W of 70W this afternoon through tonight. Strong
 E-NE winds occurring north of the front will diminish to fresh 
this afternoon, and decrease further tonight. Low pressure is
expected to develop off the NE Florida coast on Fri then drift
NE and deepen over the weekend off the coast of the Carolinas,
then move NE and exit the region late Sun through Mon. This low
will  drag a cold front through areas W of 70W through the
weekend. Gale force winds are possible this weekend behind the
front, mainly N  of 28N. 

.TODAY...E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft in N to NE swell.
Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and E to SE 15 to
20 kt N of 27N. Seas 5 to 7 ft in NE swell. Scattered showers and
isolated tstms. 
.FRI...S winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and S 15 to 20 kt N of 27N.
Seas 3 to 5 ft in NE to E swell. Numerous showers and scattered
tstms. 
.FRI NIGHT...SW winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and SW 10 to 15 kt N
of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft in NE swell. Scattered showers and
isolated tstms. 
.SAT...W to NW winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft,building to
5 to 7 ft in the afternoon. 
.SAT NIGHT...NW winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 9 ft. 
.SUN...NW to N winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 7 to 10 ft in N to NE
swell.
