Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A strong cold front will move into the NW Gulf early
Thu, extend from the big bend of Florida to the Bay of Campeche
by Thu night and from southern Florida to the eastern Bay of
Campeche on Fri afternoon. Gale force northerly winds and
building seas up to 17 ft are expected W of the front along the
coasts of Texas and Mexico early on Thu through Fri morning.
Marine conditions will improve significantly Fri night and Sat
in the basin as the front stalls and weakens.  

.THIS AFTERNOON...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft in the
evening, subsiding to 2 ft or less. 
.THU...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.THU NIGHT...NW to N winds 5 to 10 kt, becoming N to NE 15 to
20 kt after midnight. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 ft after
midnight.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure building southward across the region 
will support moderate to fresh winds through early Fri. Large 
long period NE swell will continue to move across the forecast 
waters today and reach the Caribbean passages on Thu evening
before subsiding Sat. Seas associated with this swell are 
expected to peak at around 10 to 11 ft. A cold front will move 
off the coast of northern Florida on Fri, and stall from 31N74W
to West Palm Beach, Florida Fri evening through Sun.
