Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Southerly return flow prevails across most of the
Gulf this evening as a cold front has moved into the Texas
coastal waters. The front will move SE and reach from near
Mobile, AL to near Tampico, Mexico early Tue, then from near
Cape Coral, FL to offshore of NE Mexico to the western Bay of
Campeche early Wed, where it will stall and weaken through early
Thu. Strong NE winds are expected behind the front Tue through
Wed afternoon. Winds will gradually veer SE across the basin Thu
in advance of next cold front, which is expected to reach the
Texas coast Fri morning. Gale force N winds are expected behind
this front Fri and Fri night across the western Gulf. 

.TONIGHT...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft, subsiding to
2 ft or less. 
.TUE...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TUE NIGHT...N to NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 2 ft or less,
building to 3 to 4 ft late. 
.WED...NE to E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.WED NIGHT...E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.THU...E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...A weak cold front from 31N70W to 28N78W will shift
slowly E through the week. Another cold front will move off the 
coast of N Florida Tue evening and become stationary over
central  Florida and N of the Bahamas by Thu, gradually
dissipating along  27N. High pres will build from the middle
Atlantic coast SE into  the area in the wake of this front. 

.TONIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and
3 to 4 ft N of 27N. Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.TUE...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 10 to 15 kt
N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 to 5 ft N of 27N. 
.TUE NIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 5 to 10 kt
N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 to 5 ft N of 27N.
