Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front has entered the NW Gulf this afternoon
and extends from western Florida Panhandle to near Corpus
Christi, Texas, and will reach from N central Florida to near
27N90W to Tampico, Mexico Thu morning. Meanwhile, 1009 mb low
pres has developed near 20.5N96W. The tail of the front will
transition to a warm front over the NE waters on Fri ahead of
the low pressure as it begins to move NE. This low is expected
to strengthen as it move generally NE across the central and N
central portions Fri through Sat. This low has a medium chance
to develop into a tropical or subtropical cyclone late this week
over the central Gulf of Mexico. Fresh to strong winds and
building seas are expected to the N and NE of the low over the
weekend.  

.TONIGHT...NW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.THU...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to SE to S in the
afternoon. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and isolated
tstms. 
.THU NIGHT...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.FRI...SE to S winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 3 ft, building to 4 to
6 ft in the afternoon. Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.FRI NIGHT...S winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 9 ft. 
.SAT...SW to W winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 6 to 9 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...Weak high pressure prevails across the waters this
evening. A cold front will enter the NW forecast waters Thu 
morning. Fresh to strong SW winds ahead of the front and N of
29N  will continue through Thu morning when the front is
expected to  reach from 30N73W SW to near Palm Bay, Florida. The
front will  reach from 30N65W to Freeport, Bahamas to near West
Palm Beach on Fri morning and from 25N65W to the central Bahamas
on Sat. 

.TONIGHT...SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and
3 to 5 ft N of 27N. 
.THU...SW winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and NW 10 to 15 kt N of 27N.
Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 to 5 ft N of 27N. 
.THU NIGHT...SE to S winds less than 5 kt S of 27N, and NW to N
5 to 10 kt N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 ft N of
