Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A strong cold front for October currently extends
across the Gulf of Mexico from Pensacola Florida to SE of
Veracruz Mexico near 18.5N95.5W. The front is stalling and is
expected to dissipate by Mon. Gales W of the front will wind
down E of Tampico this evening and end near Veracruz by tomorrow
morning. Elsewhere, high pressure NE of the Gulf will promote
quiescent conditions through Tue. On Wed, a weaker cold front
will push E across the northern Gulf of Mexico. No tropical
cyclone activity is expected for the next several days over the
Gulf.  

.TONIGHT...NE to E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building
to 3 to 4 ft after midnight. 
.SUN...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.SUN NIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front extends SE from just W of Andros 
Island to 23N73W, then northeastward to 27N65W. The front is 
beginning to weaken and will dissipate by Mon. High pressure north
of the front will promote quiescent conditions through Tue. On 
Wed, moderate to strong SW winds will develop east of Florida 
ahead of the next cold front. Large N swell generated by 
Subtropical Storm Melissa well north of the area are beginning to 
decay. This will allow seas E of the Bahamas to subside below 8 ft
Sun. No new tropical cyclone activity is expected for the next 
several days. 

.TONIGHT...E winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and E 10 to 15 kt N of
27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft in N to NE swell. 
.SUN...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft.

15 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft.
