Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A trough extending over the SE Gulf and southern
Florida will lift northeastward as a cold front crosses the Gulf
and approaches from the west today. This front will stall over
the SE Gulf Wed and Thu. Moderate to fresh winds behind this
front will persist into Wed before diminishing. Today, NW winds
off Veracruz may reach strong speeds.

3 ft in the afternoon. Scattered showers.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A surface trough over the NW Bahamas and S Florida 
extends SW into the SE Gulf of Mexico this morning. This trough 
will lift northeast and may organize into low pressure north of 
the Bahamas tonight or Tue, before moving north and east away from
the area. If the low forms, some locally fresh to strong winds 
may reside near Tue into Wed, and there is a low chance of 
tropical cyclone formation with this low until it merges with the 
subsequently depicted cold front. A cold front will move off the 
SE U.S. coast tonight and approach the NW Bahamas on Wed. It 
should then stall and weaken over the Bahamas for the latter half 
of the week.
