Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure centered along the eastern seaboard of
the U.S. will dominate the Gulf waters through the remainder of
the weekend. The pressure gradient between the high and an old
frontal boundary extending through the Straits of Florida to
near the NE coast of the Yucatan Peninsula will maintain fresh
to strong easterly winds and seas of 8 to 10 ft through tonight.
New high pressure will develop across the northern Gulf by Mon
and will linger through the week, causing the pressure gradient
to weaken and marine conditions to improve.

Scattered showers and isolated tstms.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure centered along the eastern seaboard of 
the U.S. will dominate the regional waters through Mon with strong
NE to E winds and high seas. Tropical Storm Jerry near 25.7N 
66.6W 997 mb at 11 AM EDT moving NNW at 9 kt. Maximum sustained 
winds 55 kt gusts 65 kt. Jerry will continue to move NNW and exit 
the area to the N Tue morning. Tropical Storm Karen near 12.5N 
61.7W 1006 mb at 11 AM EDT moving WNW at 11 kt. Karen is expected
to move across eastern Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands on Tue,
reaching near 18.8N 65.8W Tue evening, then reach 23.4N 65.3W Wed
morning before beginning to turn NW and then W towards the 
Bahamas late in the week.
