Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure centered over the Carolinas will
dominate the Gulf waters through Sun. The pressure gradient will
tighten over the eastern Gulf tonight through Sat night
resulting in fresh to strong easterly winds and building seas to
8 ft. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...NE to E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft.
Scattered showers and isolated tstms.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...Hurricane Humberto is forecast to become a powerful 
extratropical cyclone well N of area later today. Large swells 
generating by Humberto will continue to impact the forecast
waters E of the Bahamas through Sat. Meanwhile, Hurricane Jerry
near  16.8N 54.4W 988 mb at 11 AM EDT moving WNW at 14 kt.
Maximum  sustained winds 65 kt gusts 80 kt. Jerry will move to
17.5N 56.5W  this evening, 18.5N 59.3W Fri morning, 19.5N 62.1W
Fri evening,  20.7N 64.8W Sat morning, and weaken to a tropical
storm near 23.5N 68.6W Sun morning. Jerry will strengthen to a
hurricane again  near 26.5N 70.0W early Mon, and change little
in intensity as it  moves to near 30.5N 67.0W Tue. The center of
Jerry will be near or north of the northern Leeward Islands
Friday, pass north of  Puerto Rico on Saturday and east of the
southeastern Bahamas on  Sunday.

and 7 to 10 ft N of 27N.
