Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure over the north central Gulf will
dissipate today as a weak cold front moves across the eastern
Gulf, then stall over the southeast Gulf by late Fri, before
dissipating Sat into Sun. High pressure will persist in the wake
of the front from the Carolinas to Texas into early next week.

.SYNOPSIS...Hurricane Humberto is well north of the area, but
associated northerly swell continues to move through the open
waters off the Bahamas and the east coast of Florida. Meanwhile,
Tropical Storm Jerry, currently over the Atlantic east of the
Leeward Islands is forecast to intensify to hurricane strength 
and move to the east of the Bahamas by Sun, before recurving 
toward Bermuda early in the week.
