Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A broad area of disorganized showers and
thunderstorms over the central and eastern Gulf of Mexico is
associated with an upper-level low and a weak surface trough.
Some slight development of this system is possible during the
next couple of days while it moves westward over the western
Gulf of Mexico. The system is forecast to move inland along the
northwestern Gulf coast by late Monday or Tuesday, and further
development is not expected after that time. High pressure will
gradually build over the Gulf Tue through Fri. 

.OVERNIGHT...SW winds 10 to 15 kt after midnight. Seas 3 ft. 
.MON...W to NW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.MON NIGHT...NW to N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...Hurricane Humberto near 29.4N 77.6W 988 mb at 11 PM 
EDT moving NE at 3 kt. Maximum sustained winds 65 kt gusts
80 kt.  Humberto will move to 29.8N 77.1W Mon morning, 30.1N
76.0W Mon  evening, 30.5N 74.7W Tue morning, 30.8N 73.0W Tue
evening, and  31.8N 68.3W Wed evening. Humberto will change
little in intensity  as it moves near 35.0N 63.3W late Thu, and
weaken to a tropical  storm over 39.0N 60.0W Fri. The center of
Humberto will continue  to move away from the Bahamas and remain
well offshore of the  southeastern coast of the United States
through Wednesday. Further strengthening is expected during the
next few days, and Humberto  is expected to become a hurricane
later tonight. Northerly swell  will reach the Atlantic passages
into the Caribbean Sea late on  Mon and subside Wed.

20 kt after midnight. N of 27N,W winds 55 to 65 kt after
midnight. Seas 3 to 18 ft in NE swell. Scattered showers and
isolated tstms. 
.MON...TROPICAL STORM CONDITIONS EXPECTED. S of 27N,SW to W
winds 15 to 20 kt. N of 27N,W winds 60 to 65 kt, becoming W to
NW 40 to 45 kt in the afternoon. Seas 3 to 14 ft in NE swell.
