Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A broad area of disorganized showers and
thunderstorms over the central and eastern Gulf of Mexico is
associated with an upper-level low and a weak surface trough.
Some slight development of this system is possible during the
next couple of days while it moves westward over the western
Gulf of Mexico. The system is forecast to move inland along the
northwestern Gulf coast by late Monday or Tuesday, and further
development is not expected after that time. High pressure will
gradually build over the Gulf Tue through Fri.  

.TONIGHT...W winds 10 to 15 kt, shifting to SW after midnight.

.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Humberto near 29.3N 78.0W 989 mb at
5 PM EDT moving N at 5 kt. Maximum sustained winds 60 kt gusts
75  kt. Humberto will strengthen to a hurricane near 29.8N 77.6W
Mon  morning, move to 30.1N 76.7W Mon afternoon, 30.4N 75.4W Tue
 morning, 30.7N 73.6W Tue afternoon, and 31.7N 68.9W Wed
afternoon. Humberto will change little in intensity as it moves
near 35.0N  62.0W Thu afternoon, and weaken to a tropical storm
over 39.6N  56.1W Fri. The center of Humberto will continue to
move away from the Bahamas and remain well offshore of the east
coast of Florida through Wednesday. Additional strengthening is
forecast through  Wednesday, and Humberto is expected to become
a hurricane by tonight. Northerly swell will reach the Atlantic 
passages into the Caribbean Sea late on Mon and subside Wed.

.TONIGHT...TROPICAL STORM CONDITIONS. SW winds 15 to 20 kt S of
27N, and W 55 to 65 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 19 ft in N to NE
swell. Scattered showers and isolated tstms. Vsby 1 NM or less. 
.MON...TROPICAL STORM CONDITIONS EXPECTED. S of 27N,SW to W
winds 15 to 20 kt. N of 27N,W winds 60 to 65 kt, becoming W to
NW 40 to 45 kt in the afternoon. Seas 3 to 14 ft in NE swell. 
.MON NIGHT...TROPICAL STORM CONDITIONS POSSIBLE. W to NW winds
10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and NW 25 to 30 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to
12 ft. 
.TUE...TROPICAL STORM CONDITIONS POSSIBLE. NW winds 10 to 15 kt
