Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A large area of cloudiness and showers over the
eastern and central Gulf of Mexico is associated with an upper-
level low and a weak surface trough. Some slow development of
this system is possible during the next couple of days while it
moves westward over the western Gulf of Mexico. The system is
forecast to move inland along the northwestern Gulf coast by
late Monday or Tuesday and further development is not expected
after that time. Weak high pressure will build over the Gulf
through mid week.  

.TODAY...S winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered showers. 
.TONIGHT...W to NW winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to S to SW after
midnight. Seas 3 ft in the evening, subsiding to 2 ft or less. 
.MON...NW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.MON NIGHT...NW to N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Humberto near 27.6N 77.3W 1000 mb at
2 AM EDT moving NNW at 5 kt. Maximum sustained winds 50 kt gusts
60 kt. Humberto will move to 29.0N 77.9W this afternoon,
strengthen to a hurricane near 29.6N 77.6W Mon morning, 30.1N
76.7W Mon afternoon, 30.5N 75.3W Tue morning, and 31.3N 71.2W
Wed morning. Humberto will change little in intensity as it
moves eastward toward Bermuda through mid week. Northerly swell
will reach the Atlantic passages into the Caribbean Sea late on
Mon.

27N, and SW to W 65 to 85 kt N of 27N. Seas to 19 ft in NE to E

10 to 15 kt, shifting to SW after midnight. N of 28N, winds 65 to 
85 kt. Seas to 19 ft in NE swell. Scattered squalls. Vsby 1 NM or 
less. 
.MON...TROPICAL STORM CONDITIONS EXPECTED. W winds 10 to 15 kt S
of 27N, and W to NW 55 to 65 kt N of 27N. Seas to 15 ft in NE
