Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Fresh to strong NE to E winds will persist over the
eastern Gulf today, between high pressure over the Mississippi
Valley and Tropical Storm Humberto near the Bahamas. Winds and
seas will diminish tonight into Sun as Humberto moves farther
north off the northeast coast of Florida. Scattered to numerous
showers and thunderstorms will continue across much of the
eastern Gulf through Sun as an upper-level low lingers over the
central Gulf. A weak pressure pattern will persist from late Sun
through mid week as high pressure builds over the area.  

.TODAY...E winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 3 to 7 ft. Scattered showers
and isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 6 ft. Scattered
showers. 
.SUN...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt, shifting to SW to W in the
afternoon. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered showers. 
.SUN NIGHT...W to NW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft in the evening,
subsiding to 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Humberto is near 26.3N 76.0W 1007 mb 
at 5 AM EDT, moving NW at 6 kt. Maximum sustained winds are
35 kt gusts 45 kt. Humberto will move to 26.9N 76.9W this
afternoon, 28.0N 77.7W Sun morning, 29.0N 77.9W Sun afternoon,
before strengthening to a hurricane near 29.8N 77.4W Mon morning
and mvoing to 30.8N 74.7W by Tue morning. Humberto will change
little in intensity as it moves farther more eastward Wed,
reaching near Bermuda Thu.

15 to 20 kt, shifting to W 20 to 25 kt in the afternoon. N of

20 to 25 kt S of 27N, and N to NE 35 to 45 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to
