Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure over the southeastern United States
will support moderate to fresh northeast to east winds into the
weekend. Potential Tropical Cyclone Nine currently over the
central Bahamas will track northwestward off the east coast of
Florida through early next week. The gradient between the
cyclone and the high pressure will allow for fresh winds over
the NE Gulf today through Sat along with building seas.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected across the
eastern Gulf through Sun.  

.THIS AFTERNOON...NE to E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft.
Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...NE to E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.SAT...NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers
and isolated tstms. 
.SAT NIGHT...N to NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered

.SYNOPSIS...Potential Tropical Cyclone Nine is located near
25.0N 74.5W 1009 mb at 11 AM EDT moving NW at 1 kt. Maximum
sustained  winds 25 kt gusts 35 kt. Nine will move to 25.8N
76.5W this  evening, 26.6N 78.0W Sat morning, 28.0N 79.4W Sat
evening, 29.2N  80.0W Sun morning, and 31.0N 79.0W Mon morning.
Nine will change  little in intensity as it moves to near 31.5N
75.0W early Tue,  and continue to near 32.0N 71.5W Wed.
Elsewhere, a tropical wave may approach the waters south of 22N
early next week. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...NE winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and NE to E
20 to 25 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft S of 27N, and 4 to 6 ft N of
27N. Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...S of 27N, N to NE winds 10 to 15 kt,  shifting to NW
15 to 20 kt late. N of 27N, E winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft S
of 27N, and 6 to 9 ft N of 27N. Scattered showers and isolated
tstms. 
.SAT...S of 27N, SW winds 25 to 30 kt, diminishing to 15 to 20 kt
in the afternoon. N of 27N, E to SE winds 20 to 30 kt. Seas 4 to
