Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Broad low pressure in the west central Gulf near
24N93W will move slowly W over the SW Gulf through mid week.
This low pressure may strengthen some and has a low potential
for tropical development through the week. In the Atlantic,
extremely dangerous Hurricane Dorian is over Grand Bahama Island
in the northern Bahamas with maximum sustained winds of 135 kt
and gusts to 165 kt. Dorian will move slowly W to WNW through
the northern Bahamas today before turning NW then NNW to
parallel the east coasts of Florida and Georgia through mid
week.  

.THIS AFTERNOON...NW winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
Scattered showers. 
.TONIGHT...NW to N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 ft. Scattered
showers. 
.TUE...NW winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 ft. Scattered showers. 
.TUE NIGHT...TROPICAL STORM CONDITIONS POSSIBLE within 30 nm of

the Florida coast N of 26N. Otherwise W winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3

.SYNOPSIS...Hurricane Dorian near 26.8N 78.3W 922 mb at 11 AM
EDT drifting W at 1 kt. Maximum sustained winds 135 kt gusts
165 kt.  Dorian will move to 26.9N 78.7W this evening, 27.2N
79.1W Tue  morning, 28.1N 79.6W Tue evening, 29.3N 80.2W Wed
morning, and off the Georgia coast near 32N 79.4W Thu morning.
Dorian will  slowly weaken as it continues to move to the north
of the area  early Fri, and continue paralleling the coast
offshore the  Carolinas into Saturday.

.THIS AFTERNOON...HURRICANE CONDITIONS. SW to W winds 95 to
115 kt S of 27N, and E to SE 85 to 105 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to
21 ft in N to NE swell. Scattered showers and isolated tstms.

.TONIGHT...HURRICANE CONDITIONS EXPECTED. SW to W winds 90 to
110 kt S of 27N, and E to SE 90 to 110 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to

.TUE...HURRICANE CONDITIONS EXPECTED. S of 27N,SW winds 80 to
100 kt, diminishing to 50 to 55 kt in the afternoon. N of 27N,SE

and isolated tstms. Visibility 1 NM or less.
