Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Relatively weak high pressure will continue across
the area through Fri night. The high will maintain moderate to
fresh south to southeast winds over the waters west of 90W.
Winds will be mainly light to gentle east of 90W through the
period. An upper-level trough will help trigger off scattered
showers and thunderstorms over the north-central Gulf waters
through early Tue.

.TONIGHT...W winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to S late. Seas 2 ft or 
less. Isolated showers and thunderstorms.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A 1010 mb low is centered near 32N73W, with a trough
extending southwestward to the NW Bahamas. Scattered to numerous 
showers and thunderstorms, some with strong gusty winds and rough 
seas are north 25N between 70W and 76W. The low will slowly lift 
northeastward through Wed, while the trough gradually shifts 
eastward across the northern waters and dissipates by early Thu. 
Otherwise, gentle to moderate SE winds will continue across the 
area. Tropical Storm Dorian, currently in the tropical Atlantic, 
is forecast to move across the eastern Caribbean Sea as a 
hurricane by the middle of the week and near the far southern 
waters as a tropical storm by Fri night. Expect increasing winds 
and building seas for those waters affected by Dorian. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...W winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered 
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...S of 27N,NW winds 5 to 10 kt. N of 27N,S to SW winds
less than 5 kt, shifting to W to NW after midnight. Seas 3 to 4 
ft. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TUE...SW winds less than 5 kt, shifting to NW in the afternoon.
