Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Relatively weak high pressure extending from the
Atlantic across the NE and north-central Gulf will change little
through early next week. Moderate to fresh south-southeast winds
will continue across the waters west of 90W through the period,
while mainly light to gentle variable winds continue east of
90W. A mid-level low over the NW Gulf will support scattered to
isolated showers through Sat night.

showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...N to NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft. Scattered showers

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A weak area of low pressure centered between the
southeastern coast of Florida and Andros Island will continue to
support scattered showers and thunderstorms over the waters W of
72W the next few days. The low is forecast to move near or over 
Florida later today, then back offshore near the coast of east- 
central Florida over the weekend or early next week. Environmental
conditions appear conducive for tropical cyclone development once
the system moves back over the Atlantic waters. Otherwise, gentle
to moderate southeasterly winds will continue across the area, 
except over most of the north-central and the eastern part of the 
northwest forecast waters where the low pressure is likely to 
bring fresh to strong winds Sun and Sun night.

3 to 4 ft. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.
