Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A tropical wave with axis near Veracruz adjacent
waters will move W of the Gulf today. Fresh to strong SE winds
are expected over the SW and central basin today following the
wave passage. Surface high pressure will persist elsewhere,
maintaining gentle to moderate winds across the region.  

.TODAY...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI...NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI NIGHT...N to NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SAT...NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SAT NIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SUN...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...Upper-level divergence and a middle level trough S
of 28N will continue to support scattered showers and
thunderstorms   over the waters W of 70W at least through Sat. A
surface trough associated with these features aloft,will move
across the northern and central Bahamas today and across Florida
on Fri. The pressure gradient between the surface trough and
high pressure across the remainder forecast waters will lead to
the continuation of moderate to locally fresh winds across the
region the entire period.
