Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Surface ridging extending from the Bermuda high will
maintain mainly gentle to moderate east-southeast winds across
the basin through the period. On the SW basin, however, a
surface trough and the passage of a tropical wave on Wed night
will support fresh to locally strong winds most of the period.  

.TODAY...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft. 
.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.WED...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...The remnants of a surface trough continue to support
scattered showers and tstms in the Bahamas and the Great Bahama
Bank. These showers will continue through Tue being supported by
an upper level low over the SW forecast waters. Surface ridging 
extending from the Bermuda high will dominate the remainder
region, supporting gentle to moderate east to southeast winds
most of the period. Fresh trades are expected at night between
Turks and Caicos and Hispaniola.

.TODAY...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE 10 to 15 kt N
of 27N. Seas 3 ft. Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and E to SE 5 to
10 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 ft in the evening, subsiding to 2 ft or
less.
