Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Disorganized cloudiness and showers over the NE Gulf
of Mexico are associated with a weak low pressure located over
the Florida Panhandle. Fresh to strong S to SW winds are
expected over the NE Gulf, in association with the low, through
tonight. Fresh to strong winds will pulse over the western
Yucatan Peninsula adjacent waters through Mon. The northern
portion of a tropical wave will move from the western Caribbean
Sea into the Bay of Campeche on Wed accompanied by abundant
tropical moisture. Otherwise, relatively weak high pressure will
extend from the Atlantic to across the central Gulf through the
upcoming week.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...An inverted surface trough, currently located near
70W  will track westward across the forecast waters through Mon
before moving inland over Florida Mon night into Tue. Scattered
showers  and thunderstorms will accompany this trough. The
pressure gradient between the Atlantic high pressure and the
trough will allow for  generally gentle to moderate east to
southeast winds to the north  of about 22N and for moderate to
fresh east winds S of 22N through most of the forecast period.
Fresh to locally strong winds will  pulse at night between the
Turks and Caicos Islands and Hispaniola through Wed. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...E winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 5 to
10 kt N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE 10 to 15 kt N of
