Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front located over the southeastern
U.S. along with very deep tropical moisture in place continue to
support scattered showers and thunderstorms over the NE and
north-central Gulf. Some of this activity may contain gusty
winds causing rough seas. Moderate to fresh southwest winds are
expected over the NE Gulf ahead of the front through Sun
evening. Fresh to strong winds will pulse over the western
Yucatan Peninsula adjacent waters through Mon. Otherwise, high
pressure will build westward across the area early Sat and
prevail through Wed.  

.OVERNIGHT...SE to S winds 15 to 20 kt after midnight. Seas 3 ft.
Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.SAT...SE to S winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 ft in the morning,
subsiding to 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and isolated tstms.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure currently dominating the forecast
area, will begin to slowly lift northward as a trough races
westward across the eastern and central forecast waters this
weekend. This will  maintain mainly gentle to moderate winds
north of 22N, and  moderate to fresh winds south of 22N through
most of the period.  Fresh to strong winds are expected on Sat
over the NW forecast waters due to a tighter pressure gradient
between the ridge and a stationary front over the SE CONUS.
Fresh to strong winds will also pulse at night between the Turks
and Caicos and Hispaniola tonight, resume Sun evening and
prevail through Mon evening.
