.SYNOPSIS...Weak high pressure ridging will remain over the
northern Gulf the next several days, allowing for generally
gentle to moderate winds and relatively low seas. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Winds and 
seas higher in and near scattered to numerous showers and 
thunderstorms.
.TONIGHT...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered 
to numerous showers and thunderstorms.
.FRI...Straits of Florida, SE to S winds 10 kt in the morning,
becoming variable less than 5 kt. Elsewhere, NE to E winds 5 to 10
kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft. Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms.
.FRI NIGHT...Straits of Florida, variable winds less than 5 kt,
becoming S 5 to 10 kt late. Elsewhere, NE winds 10 kt, shifting

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A trough extending from 24N70W to northwest Haiti 
will move northwestward across the southeastern Bahamas through 
this afternoon, across the remainder of the Bahamas through late
tonight into early Fri, then across southern Florida during Fri 
and across central and northern Florida from late Fri afternoon 
through Sat night. This trough will be accompanied by numerous 
showers and thunderstorm, with strong gusty winds, rough seas and 
heavy rainfall. The trough will become diffuse over the far 
northwest part of the area by late Sun. Central Atlantic high 
pressure will build westward near 27N early next week.
