Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front extending from 28N82W to a
1016 mb low near 27N94W to 25N96W continue to generate scattered
showers and tstms across the northern half of the basin. A
surface trough over the Bay of Campeche generates similar shower
activity. The front will transition to a warm front later today
and dissipate along the northern gulf coast at night. Otherwise,
a surface trough will form over the Yucatan Peninsula and move
into the Bay of Campeche at night with fresh to locally strong
winds.

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front north of the Bahamas will
transition into a weak cold front on Sun before dissipating.  
Moderate southwest winds are expected ahead of the stationary
front N of 30N through tonight. Gentle to moderate
east-southeast winds will dominate the remainder waters.

.THIS AFTERNOON...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE 5 to 10 kt N of
27N. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 ft in the late evening and
overnight.
