Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front extending from Crystal River,
Florida to 27N90W to a 1013 mb low over the NW gulf to just
south of Tampico, Mexico generates scattered showers and tstms
across the northern half and SW portions of the basin. Moderate
to fresh NE to E winds N of the front will prevail through early
Fri when the front is forecast to dissipate. Moderate to fresh
SW to W winds S of the front over the NE basin will diminish by
this evening. The remnants of the front will transition to a
surface trough along the coast of NE Mexico on Fri before moving
inland. Otherwise, a surface trough will form and move off the
Yucatan Peninsula into the Bay of Campeche at night accompanied
with fresh to strong winds.  

.THIS AFTERNOON...SW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...SW to W winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to SE to S after
midnight. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and isolated
thunderstorms. 
.FRI...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI NIGHT...NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SAT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front to the north of the Bahamas will
gradually weaken and dissipate on Friday. The pressure gradient 
between the frontal boundary and high pressure to the east will 
support moderate to fresh S to SW winds N of 27N through Thu. 
Gentle to moderate SE winds will dominate the remainder waters, 
except N of Hispaniola and the approaches to the Windward
Passage  where fresh to strong winds will pulse at night. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...S winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and W 10 to 15 kt
N of 27N. Seas 3 ft late in the morning, subsiding to 2 ft or
less. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...S of 27N,E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. N of 27N,W to NW
winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to S in the late evening and
overnight. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and isolated
thunderstorms. 
.FRI...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE 5 to 10 kt N of 27N.
