Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge along the northern coast of the Gulf of 
Mexico will retreat E Tuesday night and allow a cold front to move
unusually far S for this time of year over the northern Gulf. The
front will then stall and weaken Wed and Thu. Gentle to moderate 
winds will continue across most of the basin, except for fresh to 
strong winds pulsing to the W of the Yucatan peninsula tonight and
Monday night.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A trough extending from 20N73W to 26N71W will move 
WNW to reach the waters between the Bahamas and Florida late 
Monday. A ridge aligned along 29N/30N will maintain gentle to 
moderate east to southeast winds across the region through Tuesday
night. The ridge will start retreating eastward on Tuesday night,
enabling a trough to move over the NW waters from Florida 
Wednesday morning. Fresh to occasionally strong E winds will pulse
N of Hispaniola each night through the middle of next week. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE 5 to
10 kt N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less.
