Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A diurnal trough forming over the Yucatan Peninsula
will produce fresh to strong winds each night through Wed as it
moves west-northwest over the SW Gulf. A high pressure ridge
over the eastern Gulf will slowly move northward through Sat,
then remain nearly stationary over the NE Gulf Sun through Tue
night. Surface ridging building over the SE CONUS will extend S
across the northern half of the basin Wed.

.SYNOPSIS...A high pressure ridge will dominate much of the 
region through Sat, then weaken Sun into early next week as weak
low pressure forms off the southeast U.S. coast. Strong W to NW 
winds will affect the NW waters Sun night following the low and
a surface trough extending from the low. Strong winds will pulse north
of Hispaniola tonight, then subside by Sat as the pressure 
gradient relaxes. Fresh to strong SW winds will affect the 
northern waters through tonight. 

.OVERNIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SW 10 to
15 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 ft late in the evening, subsiding to 2 ft
or less. 
.SAT...E winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and W 10 to 15 kt N of 27N.
Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SAT NIGHT...S of 27N,E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. N of 27N,W
winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to S to SW in the late evening and
overnight. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SUN...E winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and W 10 to 15 kt N of 27N.

.SUN NIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to SE to S 10 to
