Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Elongated low pressure over the SW Gulf will
continue to drift W-NW through Mon, possibly becoming a tropical
cyclone, before moving inland near Tampico Mexico by Tue.
Elsewhere gentle to moderate east to southeast winds will
persist south of a ridge across the northern Gulf through Wed
night.

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge along 29N will shift east-southeast this 
weekend as a weak cold front moves off the southeastern U.S. and
becomes stationary just NW of the area. High pressure will build
 southward over the NW waters Mon night through Tue night.
Fairly  tranquil marine conditions are expected elsewhere over
the  forecast area. Broad low pres will develop across the W 
Atlc to the N of Puerto Rico late Tue and drift NE through Thu.

.TONIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 10 to 15 kt
N of 27N. S of 27N, seas 2 ft or less. N of 27N, seas 3 ft,
subsiding to 2 ft or less. 
.SUN...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 10 to 15 kt
N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and isolated
thunderstorms.
