Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure extends from the W Atlc into the NE
Gulf and will maintain fresh to strong SE winds across the
western Gulf through Fri. Winds will diminish and become more
easterly across most of the basin this weekend as high pressure
reorganizes across the W Atlc and builds W along 32N into SE
Louisiana. Smoke from fires in southern Mexico will maintain
hazy skies in the western Gulf and Bay of Campeche the next few
days.

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front from 28N65W to 26N74W to 28.5N80W will
continue to sink southward through Fri, then stall and slowly
dissipate along 25N Fri night through Sun. A broad inverted
trough will  persist N of Hispaniola through Fri. A second cold
front will sink southward into the northern waters Sat morning
and gradually  merge with remnants of old cold front along 24N
to 25N Sun night  through Mon.

27N, and 4 to 6 ft N of 27N.
