Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extending from near Apalachicola FL to
27N89W to 27N96W is supporting numerous showers and scattered
thunderstorms over the eastern Gulf of Mexico. Thunderstorms are 
likely producing strong gusty winds and frequent lightning. The 
cold front will continue slowly moving southeast across the 
eastern Gulf Mon into Tue while weakening. A high pressure ridge 
will build northeast of the region through mid week.

.THIS AFTERNOON...S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft.
Scattered thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft early in the
evening, subsiding to 2 ft or less. Scattered showers. 
.MON...S winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to NE in the afternoon. Seas
2 ft or less. 
.MON NIGHT...NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.TUE...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TUE NIGHT...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.WED...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to
3 ft in the afternoon.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure centered near 28N56W will shift
eastward and weaken through Tue. Fresh S to SW winds will
prevail over the far northern waters today through Mon ahead of 
an approaching cold front. The cold front will move into the 
northern waters on Mon night and continue southward through Tue 
while weakening. High pressure will build north of the region Wed 
through Thu night. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S to SW
15 to 20 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered showers and
isolated thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 15 to
20 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered showers and isolated
thunderstorms. 
.MON...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and SW to W 10 to 15 kt
N of 27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft until late afternoon, subsiding to 2 ft
or less. Scattered showers. 
.MON NIGHT...W to NW winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to E in the late
evening and overnight. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TUE...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
