Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front currently extends from S central
Louisiana to near Tampico, Mexico. Expect strong to gale force
NW winds near the coast of Veracruz, Mexico for this evening.
Thunderstorms will accompany the front as it moves eastward
across the forecast waters. The front will stall in the SE Gulf
of Mexico on Fri night. High pres will build in the wake of the
front and prevail through early next week.

Chance of thunderstorms. 
.FRI...SW to W winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft.
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.

Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.

.SYNOPSIS...A trough across the central waters will dissipate
tonight. High pres on either side of the trough will merge and
shift E Fri ahead of a cold front which will move off NE Florida
Fri evening. The front will reach from 31N70W to the central
Bahamas Sat morning, then stall from 28N65W to the central Bahamas
early Sun, lifting N as a warm front or remnant trough through the
end of the weekend. High pres will build N of the area early next
week.

.TONIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 15 to 20 kt
N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 to 5 ft N of 27N. 
.FRI...S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 15 to
20 kt N of 27N. S of 27N, seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 ft in
the afternoon. N of 27N, seas 4 to 6 ft. Chance of showers. 
.FRI NIGHT...S of 27N, W winds 10 to 15 kt, Seas 3 ft, subsiding
to 2 ft or less. N of 27N, SW to W winds 15 to 20 kt, shifting to
NW late. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Slight chance of showers. VSBY 1 NM or
less. 
.SAT...N to NE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and NE 15 to 20 kt N
