Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front currently extends from SW Louisiana to
the Mexico coast near 24N98W. Expect strong to gale force NW
winds near the coast of Veracruz Mexico for this afternoon and
tonight. Thunderstorms will accompany the front as it moves
eastward across the forecast waters. The front will stall in the
SE Gulf of Mexico on Friday night, and it will dissipate by
Sunday. High pressure will build in the wake of the front and
prevail through early next week.  

.THIS AFTERNOON...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Chance of
thunderstorms. 
.FRI...SW to W winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to
3 ft in the late morning and afternoon. Scattered showers and
chance of thunderstorms. 
.FRI NIGHT...N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure across the forecast waters will
retreat eastward today ahead of a cold front that will move off
the  NE Florida coast on Friday evening. The front will move
east and  stall from Bermuda to the northern Florida Keys by
late Saturday, and then dissipate as it moves slowly northward
through early  next week. Expect strong SW winds N of 29N W of
73W from Friday morning until Friday night. Expect strong NW
winds within 200 nm W of front from Friday night until Saturday
morning. Expect strong SW winds within 200 nm E of front from
Friday night until Saturday morning. 8 ft seas are N of 29.5N
from 67W westward from Friday  afternoon until Saturday night.

.THIS AFTERNOON...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft. 
.TONIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 15 to 20 kt
N of 27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft.
