Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure will prevail across the area through
Wed, then retreat eastward ahead of a cold front moving into the
northwest Gulf Thu. The front will reach the far eastern Gulf by
Fri evening, where it will become stationary and weaken to a
trough Sat. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected
with this frontal system.

.WED...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft, subsiding to 2 ft or
less late.

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front extends from near 31N67W to 
24N72W, then a surface trough extends from that point to 19N73W.
The front and trough will gradually dissipate through tonight. 
The next cold front will move off the southeastern United States 
coast by Sat. Scattered showers and thunderstorms, some with gusty
winds, are expected to affect much of the area north of 27N Fri 
through late Sat.
