Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extending from Alabama to the Bay of
Campeche will continue to shift across the basin, moving SE of
the area late tonight. Strong to near gale force winds are
expected on either side of the front, mainly over the northern
waters. High pres will build in the wake of the front this
weekend with return flow expected by early next week.

.TODAY...SW winds 20 to 30 kt with frequent gusts to gale force. 
Seas 6 to 9 ft. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...W to NW winds 20 to 30 kt, diminishing to 15 to 20 kt
late. Seas 7 to 10 ft. Numerous showers and scattered thunderstorms.

.SYNOPSIS...Winds and seas will increase over much of the NW 
waters today ahead of a cold front expected to move off the 
Florida peninsula tonight. The front will extend from 31N73W 
across the central Bahamas to Cuba Sat evening, from 31N69W to 
the SE Bahamas Sun evening, then stall and dissipate Mon night 
through Tue night. Gale force southerly winds are expected ahead
 of the front N of 27N and W of 70W. Numerous showers and
scattered strong thunderstorms will accompany the front.

.TODAY...SE to S winds 20 to 30 kt, except 25 to 35 kt N of 27N. 
Seas 3 to 5 ft S of 27N, and 7 to 10 ft N of 27N. Scattered 
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...SW to W winds 20 to 25 kt S of 27N, and SW 25 to 35 kt
N of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft S of 27N, and 7 to 10 ft N of 27N.
