Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front extends from SW Florida near
26N82W to beyond the Yucatan Channel. This front will drift
southward and dissipate over the next day. A ridge of high 
pressure north of the Gulf will subsequently promote quiescent 
conditions through Sun. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...W to NW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.TONIGHT...NW to N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.THU...N to NE winds less than 5 kt, shifting to SE to S in the
late morning and afternoon. Seas 3 ft until late afternoon,
subsiding to 2 ft or less. 
.THU NIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI NIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less,
building to 3 ft after midnight.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A weak stationary front extends from an
extratropical low at 31N78W to the NE Florida coast at 29N81W.
Ahead of the  front, a surface trough extends from 29N77W to NW
Bahamas and is  associated with scattered showers and
thunderstorms. While this front should dissipate by Thu, a new 
cold front will be reaching the area tonight, pushing eastward and
extending from 28N65W to 27N75W on Fri morning. Strong NE winds 
will develop north of the front Thu and Fri before weakening Sat 
and Sun.

.THIS AFTERNOON...SW to W winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and W 10 to
15 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 ft. Scattered showers. 
.TONIGHT...W winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and NW 5 to 10 kt N of
27N. Seas 2 to 3 ft. Scattered showers.
.THU...SW to W winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and E to SE 10 to 15 kt
N of 27N. Seas 2 to 3 ft.
