Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from the Straits of Florida to
the Yucatan Channel this morning. High pres will build in the
wake of the front with southerly return flow in the western Gulf
increasing through Thu morning ahead of the next cold front that
will move into the Texas coastal waters. The front will stall
and pushing back inland through the day Thu as the high
restrengthens. Another cold front will move into the western
Gulf Sat evening into early Sun, shifting across the basin
through the end of the upcoming weekend. 

.TODAY...W to NW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.TONIGHT...NW to N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.THU...NE winds less than 5 kt, shifting to SE to S in the late
morning and afternoon. Seas 3 ft until late afternoon, subsiding
to 2 ft or less. 
.THU NIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI NIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less,

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from 30N79W to 27N80W and
supports scattered showers and isolated tstms across the Florida
seaboard as well as the central and northern Bahamas. The front
will reach from Bermuda to the central Bahamas early on Thu. The
front will weaken and exit the area Fri evening. A low will
develop E of Georgia Wed afternoon extending a trough into the
NW waters. The low will move N of Freeport early on Thu before
dissipating during the afternoon hours. High pres will rebuild 
across the basin through Sat night, weakening by late Sun as the next
cold front approaches from the NW. 

.TODAY...SW to W winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...W winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and NW 5 to 10 kt N of
27N. Seas 3 ft in the evening, subsiding to 2 ft or less.
