Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pres ridges W from the Atlc over the northern 
Gulf waters. A moist SE wind flow S of the ridge will support 
patchy fog, some dense, over much of the northern Gulf until Sun 
morning. SE winds will increase over the western Gulf today as the
Yucatan Peninsula trough shifts W over the SW Gulf. A cold front 
could bring strong to severe thunderstorms to the Texas coast late
Sun night, then E along the northern Gulf coast Mon. The cold 
front will cross the basin Mon and Tue but weaken into a trough as
it reaches the far SE Gulf by late Wed.

.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...A weak surface trough extending from 24N73W to 28N67W
will gradually weaken as it shifts W through early this evening, 
and is replaced by high pressure ridging W across the northern and
central waters through Tue. The ridging will begin to slide 
eastward late on Tue in response to low pressure that will track 
NE from the southern U.S. A cold front associated with this low is
expected to emerge off the SE U.S. coast late on Tue, then weaken
and stall over the waters near the northern Bahamas Wed and Wed 
night.

.THIS AFTERNOON...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE to S
5 to 10 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 ft in NE to E swell. 
.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE 5 to 10 kt
N of 27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft in NE to E swell.
