Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Areas of dense fog across the NW and N central Gulf 
and areas of dense smoke across the W central and SW Gulf will 
linger today. Otherwise, a stationary front along the northern 
Gulf coastline will lift N as a warm front today. High pres will 
prevail across the basin through Sun before retreating eastward. 
This will enable a cold front to move off the Texas coast early 
Mon. The front will extend from near Louisiana to the Bay of 
Campeche Mon night, then from the Florida panhandle to the Yucatan
Peninsula Tue night.

Bahamas. The trough will drift westward while dissipating through

retreat eastward ahead of a cold front which will move off the SE
coast of the United States on Tue. 

.TODAY...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft S of 27N, and 4 to
6 ft N of 27N. Chance of showers and slight chance of thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft S of 27N, and 4 to
6 ft N of 27N. Scattered showers.
