Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure across the northern Gulf will shift
east today ahead of a cold front moving off the Texas coast this
evening. The front is forecast to reach a position from Panama
City to 27N90W to Tampico, Mexico near 22N97W by Sun morning,
then stall just S of Tampa Bay to 25N90W to the central Gulf of
Campeche by Mon morning. The front will shift and weaken 
southeast of the area on Mon. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft late in
the morning, subsiding to 2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SUN...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SUN NIGHT...SE winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to NE to E in the late
evening and overnight. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.MON...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt, becoming S 15 to 20 kt in the
afternoon. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 to 4 ft in the
afternoon. 
.MON NIGHT...N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.TUE...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt, shifting to NW to N in the

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extending from 20N65W to NE Hispaniola 
near 18N68W will stall tonight, briefly transition to a cold
front on Sun and then stall again NE of Puerto Rico on Mon
before dissipating. High pressure will develop NE of the Bahamas
in the wake of the front through Sun. The next cold front will
move off  the NE Florida coast by Sun night followed by a strong
ridge that will support the development of gale force winds N of
29N between 75W and 78W, and again Tue night as a low pressure N
of the area moves to the NW forecast waters.
