Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends through the Straits of Florida
to a 1014 mb low pressure located near 23N83W to the NE Yucatan
Peninsula. A tight pressure gradient along Florida and the NE
gulf support NE strong to near gale force winds in the SE basin
S of 25N. The front will shift SE and exit the region by this
afternoon. High pressure will then dominate the entire Gulf
through Sun.

.TONIGHT...N to NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.THU...N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.THU NIGHT...NW to N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.FRI...N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft.

subsiding to 2 ft or less.  

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front extends from 30N62W to 27N68W to
a low pressure center near 26N74W then transitions to a cold
front that continues to 23N80W into the NW Caribbean. The low 
will gradually shift NE dragging the cold front SE to the southern
Bahamas by this evening. The front will then stall and weaken 
before dissipating by Thu night. Strong to minimal gale force 
winds are expected across the NW semicircle of the low center this
morning through early Thu. NE swell associated with the front 
will propagate across the northern waters through Thu. However, 
swell associated with a reinforcing cold front will prevail 
through Sun. This second front will extend from near 25N65W to 
north-central Dominican Republic by Fri evening.

of 27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.
