Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front extends through the Straits of
Florida to a 1013 mb low pressure located near 23N86W, then
continues to the far eastern Bay of Campeche. Strong to near
gale-force NE  winds will continue within about 90 nm N of the
low and front through tonight. The front and low will shift
slowly SE across the Yucatan Channel and NW Cuba tonight through
Thu and weaken as high pressure builds across the NW Gulf. High
pressure will then dominate the Gulf region through Sat.  

.TONIGHT...NE winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 9 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.WED...NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.WED NIGHT...N to NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.THU...N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.THU NIGHT...NW to N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.FRI...N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft.

3 to 4 ft in the afternoon.

subsiding to 2 ft or less.  

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front extends from a 1015 mb low 
pressure centered near 30N67W across the NW Bahamas and through 
the Straits of Florida. The front will meander through Wed as a
second low pressure center develops along it near 27.5N74W
tonight, and moves NE and deepens through Thu. Strong to minimal
gale  force winds are expected across the NW semicircle of the
low  center Wed morning through Wed night over the NE corner of
the  forecast area. Fresh to strong winds are also expected
behind the  frontal boundary. NE swell behind these features
will propagate  mainly across the waters N of 27N through at
least Thu. A  reinforcing cold front will move across the
northern waters Thu  morning through Fri and then stall from
25N65W to the approaches  of the Windward Passage on Sat
morning. 

.TONIGHT...S of 27N,NE to E winds 20 to 30 kt, diminishing to 10 
to 15 kt late in the night. N of 27N,NE to E winds 20 to 25 kt. 
Seas 5 to 7 ft. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.

27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.
