Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front extends from the Florida Straits
near 24N83W to 1014 mb low pres centered near 21.5N92.5W. Strong
high pressure surrounding the low is supporting strong to near
gale-force N to NE winds over the SW Gulf of Mexico. This area
of winds will shift ENE across the Gulf of Mexico and diminish
through Tue night as the low shifts E and weakens and the front
exits to the SE of the Gulf. A new surface ridge will build S
across the area Wed through Fri night. 

.OVERNIGHT...NE winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft.
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.

.SYNOPSIS...A nearly stationary front extends SW from near 31N65W
to 1015 low pressure centered near 29N72W. A cold front curves SW
from the low to 26N77W, then continues as a stationary front 
through the Florida Straits into the SE Gulf of Mexico. The 
frontal boundary will shift slowly SE through Wed to eventually 
extend from 31N57W to eastern Cuba by Thu afternoon in response to
new low pres developing and moving NE away from the Bahamas along
the front. As the low develops gale force winds will be possible 
N of 29N and E of 71W Wed and Wed night.
