Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A slowly-moving cold front passes through South
Florida, into the south central Gulf of Mexico, and then into
the SW corner of the Gulf of Mexico. The front will continue to
move across the remainder of the Gulf of Mexico, and then SE of
the area on Wednesday. Strong winds and high seas will follow
west of the front. Gale-force wind conditions are being 
experienced now, from 20N to 25N W of 96W, and they will continue 
until this morning. Gale-force winds are expected near Veracruz 
Mexico, just to the south, this afternoon and tonight. Surface 
high pressure will build across the Gulf of Mexico behind the 
front and prevail during the rest of the week.

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front, from 31N71W to south central Florida, 
will shift eastward and stall from 23N65W to the Windward
passage  on Thursday, and then weaken and dissipate by Friday
evening.  Surface high pressure will build in the wake of the
front. 

.TODAY...W to NW winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and W to NW 15 to
20 kt N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 ft in the
afternoon. 
.TONIGHT...N winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and NW to N 20 to 25 kt
N of 27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.WED...N to NE winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and N 20 to 25 kt N of
27N. Seas 5 to 7 ft. 
.WED NIGHT...NE winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and N to NE 15 to
