Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front extending from the Florida Keys
to near 24N91W will weaken tonight. The frontal remnants will
lift back to the north across the central and eastern Gulf as a
warm front from late tonight through Wed night while
dissipating. Moderate return flow will dominate the western Gulf
of Mexico from Wed through Fri, as high pressure from the
Atlantic Ocean builds westward across the area. 

.TONIGHT...E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Isolated showers.
.TUE...E to SE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered
showers. 
.TUE NIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft until
early morning, subsiding to 2 ft or less. Isolated showers.
.WED...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to NW late in the
afternoon. Seas 2 to 3 ft. Isolated showers.
.WED NIGHT...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to E after
midnight. Seas 2 to 3 ft. 
.THU...S to SW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front from near 31N65W to the central Bahamas
and to the Straits of Florida will become stationary and weaken 
near 26N through Tue night. Strong high pressure behind the front 
will shift eastward across the western Atlantic through Thu. A 
coastal trough will develop just offshore of the southeastern U.S.
on Wed, and then shift eastward across the northern waters 
through Fri. High pressure ridging will build back to the west 
across the forecast waters near 26N Fri through Sat night. 

.TONIGHT...NE to E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.TUE...E to SE winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and E 15 to 20 kt N of
27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.TUE NIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and E to SE 15 to
20 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers and isolated
thunderstorms.
