Southeast Gulf of Mexico .SYNOPSIS...A cold front cuts across South Florida near 25.5N81W, to the south central Gulf of Mexico near 23.5N90W, to 20N94W. The front will reach the Florida Bay to the central Bay of Campeche this evening, where it will stall briefly. The weakening front will lift northward from late tonight through Tuesday, and dissipate across the NE Gulf of Mexico by late Wednesday night. Moderate return flow will dominate the western Gulf of Mexico from Wednesday through Friday, as high pressure from the Atlantic Ocean builds westward across the area. .TODAY...NE to E winds 20 to 25 kt. A cold front from 31N70W to Miami Florida, will reach from Bermuda to the Florida Keys by midday, before stalling and weakening along 26N through Tuesday night. High pressure behind the front will shift eastward across the western Atlantic Ocean from this afternoon through Wednesday night.
